Three, pocket sized field notebooks for recording all your field notes! Each notebook features beautiful owl art: 1 Snowy Owl, 1 Eastern Screech Owl, 1 Barn Owl.

Created by Life List Notebooks.

Each measures 5.5" x 3.5".

Standard Features

The inside cover of each notebook provides space for your contact information, dates, locations and of course your Life List statistics.  Each notebook contains a handy map of bird anatomy since we all sometimes forget the difference between supercilium feathers and auricular feathers.  And no field notebook would be complete without a ruler so we included a 5 inch and a 7 centimeter ruler on the back inside cover.

Unlimited Uses

The inside of each notebook features 48 pages of lightly printed grid paper.  This is the layout for the birder that does not like to be told how to take notes, this is the layout for the ambitious birder continuously listing 30 or more species on every trip afield, this is the layout for the copious field note-taker.  The freedom of this format could also be used for things like checking the geometry of Charley Harper art, creating a migration calendar, sketching nest box construction plans, keeping birdseed shopping lists, noting spotting scope distances, illustrating owl pellet dissections...

Each notebook cover is printed in full color on 100# French Paper Company paper (BTW, check out their commitment to the environment!) and finished with a protective UV coating.  Listing pages are printed on 60# acid free Finch paper – ideal for all field-tested writing utensils. And each notebook is printed in the United States using 100% green energy!
